In a major battlefield blow, five Israeli soldiers were killed and two critically wounded after a booby-trapped building exploded during a raid in Khan Yunis, Gaza. Palestinian resistance groups, including Al-Qassam and Al-Quds Brigades, launched coordinated attacks, destroying Israeli military vehicles in Jabaliya and Khan Yunis.
