In a tense development along the Korean Peninsula, South Korean soldiers fired warning shots to repel North Korean soldiers who briefly crossed the land border on Tuesday, marking the second such incident this month.
According to the South’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), the North Korean troops retreated after the warnings and shots, and no further suspicious activities were observed.
