'We will try to protect what we can’ – Ukraine’s environment minister at COP29
On the sidelines of the COP29 climate summit in Baku, Azerbaijan, Euronews spoke to Ukraine’s environment minister Svitlana Hrynchuk about why the country remains committed to climate action, and isn’t waiting for the bombing to stop before ‘building back green’.

In a devastating missile strike, Russian forces have killed up to 70 Ukrainian soldiers at a special forces training camp near Shostka, in the Sumy region, located close to the Russian border. The attack, carried out using Iskander-M ballistic missiles, also destroyed an ammunition depot and multiple military vehicles.
