Fourth night of protests across Georgia after EU accession talks suspension
Officials in the country say at least 44 people have been hospitalised in increasingly violent clashes between police and protesters as President Salome Zourabichvili says she wonât step down when her term ends.

Chaos broke out at a town hall hosted by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene in Georgia, where multiple protesters were forcibly removedâtwo of them tased by police. Bodycam footage captured officers shouting commands and deploying stun guns as tensions escalated. Protesters chanted âFree GarcĂa!â in reference to a controversial deportation case. Several were charged, sparking concerns over the safety of GOP in-person events. While some Republicans are moving events online, Greene remains defiantâcontinuing public appearances despite rising hostility and physical confrontations.
