Belgium to recognise Palestine at the UN General Assembly
Belgium joins the ranks of Australia, France, Canada and the UK, all who have pledged to recognise a Palestinian state at the UNGA next week in a bid to ramp up pressure on the Israeli government to end the war in Gaza and alleviate the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated Musbah Dayyah, the fourth Mujahideen Brigades leader killed in recent months, in a Gaza operation in Nuseirat. Dayyah, a key figure in the October 7 massacre, orchestrated terror attacks, recruited operatives in the West Bank, and targeted IDF forces. The Mujahideen were responsible for kidnapping andmurdering Shiri Bibas and her children, Ariel and Kfir. This strike significantly disrupts the group’s terror operations across Gaza, Judea, and Samaria.
