During a fiery press conference in Florida, President Donald Trump threatened to arrest New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, labeling him as "anti-Israel" and claiming he may be in the U.S. illegally. The dramatic statement came just hours after Mamdaniās primary win was certified. Trump threw his support behind current Mayor Eric Adams, stating he had "helped him out a little bit" in the past. The president also criticized Mamdaniās plan to oppose ICE operations in NYC, warning, āIf that happens, weāll have to arrest him.ā
