HMS Belfast has conducted a gun salute to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
The now-retired war vessel was hosting a private event to mark the occasion as its 6 inch, 4 inch and anti-aircraft guns fired in a pyrotechnic re-enactment.

London witnessed a breathtaking tribute as over 1,300 troops, veterans, NATO allies, and the Royal Family came together to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day the end of the Second World War in Europe. The parade marched past the city's most iconic landmarks and culminated at Buckingham Palace, where King Charles, Queen Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales were joined by their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis for a rare public appearance.
