Pakistan has denied claims that it would launch a nuclear strike on Israel if Iran were attacked.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif clarified that Pakistan’s nuclear capability is strictly for national defense—not for hegemonic agendas.
This comes after Iranian official Mohsen Rezaei claimed Islamabad had promised nuclear retaliation on Iran’s behalf.
While Pakistan maintains strategic ties with Iran and urges Muslim unity against Israel, it has clearly distanced itself from any nuclear involvement, warning the West of Israel’s unchecked nuclear might.
