SBI chairman Dinesh Khara, MD Tiwari get extension

On Thursday, just one day before his term was set to conclude, the government decided to prolong the tenure of SBI chairman Dinesh Khara by 10 months. Consequently, Khara will continue to lead until August 2024. Additionally, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) granted a two-year extension to the tenure of the bank's managing director.
