Sensex declines 359 pts on selling in IT shares, foreign fund outflows

On Thursday, the benchmark Sensex experienced a decline of 359 points, and the Nifty closed below the 21,400 level, primarily attributed to selling pressure in IT shares and sustained outflows of foreign funds. The 30-share BSE Sensex concluded the day with a drop of 359.64 points or 0.51%, settling at 70,700.67. The broader Nifty recorded a decline of 101.35 points or 0.47%, closing at 21,352.60.
