LIC shares slip after 17% salary hike

Shares of LIC dipped by more than 2% on Monday following a 17% wage revision announcement. The salary hike was revealed by the government on Friday before the election code of conduct took effect the next day. LIC's shares have now decreased by 23% from the 52-week high of Rs 1,175 on Feb 9.
