'KN Singh had lost vision in both eyes'

On his 115th birth anniversary, actor-filmmaker Shashi Ranjan recalls his last meeting with actor KN Singh, who had lost his vision. Singh was overwhelmed by the acknowledgement of his contribution to cinema and asked if he would be paid for the interview, not because he needed the money, but to feel that he had earned it. Ranjan remembers their one-and-a-half-hour chat as Singh's last interaction with anyone from the entertainment world.
