Zoya humorously revealed that during a scene where Khushi Kapoor, playing Betty, had to operate a record player, she mistakenly believed that putting the needle in the center was how the music played. Zoya expressed her surprise at their lack of familiarity with older technology, stating that she was like 'What are they doing?' She was like 'isnβt that where the music comes from?β In another instance, Zoya instructed Agastya Nanda to use a landline phone for a scene, but he was clueless about the process, asking if he should dial first and then pick up the phone.
