Dev Anand had a successful career in the film industry, appearing in over 100 films. He came from a family with several connections to the industry, including his brothers Chetan and Vijay Anand. Dev had a failed love story with actress Suraiya due to religious differences. He later married actress Kalpana Kartik and they had two children. Dev Anand passed away in 2011.
