When SRK was called ‘very ugly’ by a director

Shah Rukh Khan recalled being called 'very ugly' by a director early in his career but turned it into a strength by taking on villain roles like in 'Darr'. "Because all these heroes look really Swiss chocolate-like. I didn’t look like Swiss chocolate," SRK recalled. Later, Yash Chopra saw his potential in romance films, leading to 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'. Recently, he appeared in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki'.
