Reportedly, Yami will be playing the leading role of Shah Bano Begum, a woman who bravely petitioned the Supreme Court for maintenance under Section 125 of the Criminal Procedure Code after her husband, Mohd. Ahmed Khan unceremoniously divorced her via triple talaq.
