Global EV giant Tesla is not interested in manufacturing cars in India, Union Heavy Industries Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy said. However, global automobile makers such as Mercedes Benz, Skoda-Volkswagen, Hyundai and Kia had shown interest in manufacturing electric cars in India.
