A heatwave is continuing to affect the Iberian Peninsula. Thousands of firefighters have been deployed to battle ongoing blazes and towns have been evacuated. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro SΓ‘nchez visited affected regions to meet with the heads of emergency teams.
