Monsoon arrives in Telangana, touchdown in Hyderabad by weekend

The India Meteorological Department (IMD), on Thursday, officially announced the onset of monsoon in Telangana. According to meteorologists the monsoon winds have covered parts of south and east Telangana (up to Khammam) and are moving towards central Telangana districts like Hyderabad and Medak in the next 24-36 hours.
