A minor cannot be in a live-in relationship as that would be immoral as well as illegal, the Allahabad high court said recently, dismissing a petition to protect a 17-year-old Muslim boy from criminal prosecution, initiated on an FIR filed by the family of his 19-year-old Hindu live-in partner.
