People see red as tomato price touches Rs 300/kg in Uttarakhand
Friday, 4 August 2023 The skyrocketing price of tomatoes has residents fuming as the rates of the vegetable are touching upto Rs 300 per kg in Dehradun. At the main sabzi mandi, the wholesalers sold tomatoes at Rs 120 to Rs 140 per kg during the middle of the week, but retailers sold them at prices ranging from Rs 240 to Rs 300 per kg, depending upon the quality, say residents.
