Andhra Pradesh number one in millet productivity in country

Andhra Pradesh stood in the first place in the country in millet productivity in 2022, as per the NABARD annual report 2022-23. The state grew millet crops in about 1.52 lakh hectares in 2022 with a production of 3.6 lakh tonnes., translating to a productivity of 2,363 kilograms per every hectare.
