Days before suicide, couple celebrated Onam in luxury hotel

A Kerala couple committed suicide in a luxury hotel due to financial distress. The couple had previously attempted suicide in another hotel three months prior. They celebrated Onam and dressed in traditional attire before taking their lives. The police found a suicide note stating their financial stress and a request not to trouble their daughter. The couple's unpaid hotel bills remain.
