Chandrayaan-3: Not just Moon, study of Earth SHAPE(ing) up well too
Thursday, 28 September 2023 The scientific instrument on the Chandrayaan-3 propulsion module, called SHAPE, has been sending data about Earth-like features while orbiting the Moon. The data will be used by the Isro to study exoplanets in the future. The instrument has already provided enough data to meet its objectives, but analysis and discoveries will take several months. The propulsion module, initially meant for transportation, was fitted with SHAPE to maximize its capabilities.
