The bungalow in Nithari village, known as the 'House of Horrors' after the 2006 child killings, is now hidden under dense overgrowth. The village has moved on from the macabre episode, with new buildings, shops, and roads. The younger generation has grown up without the burden of the shock, while older residents still remember the scar. Some residents avoid the lane leading to the bungalow at night, suggesting that it should be replaced with a memorial for the missing children. The owners of the property have yet to decide what to do with it.
