Karnataka to 'positively review' 2 % quota for sportspersons in government departments: CM Siddaramaiah

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced plans to review the reservation policy for sportspersons, with a view to increasing the quota for employment in government departments. Currently, sportspersons receive a three percent reservation in the police and forest departments, but Siddaramaiah hopes to extend this to a two percent quota in other government departments.
