Delhi government to launch premium bus aggregator service to encourage upper middle class to use public transport: Delhi CM Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced a premium bus aggregator scheme to encourage the upper middle class to use public transport. Under the scheme, licensed aggregators will operate air-conditioned buses with no standing passengers, and payments will be made digitally. The scheme aims to reduce congestion and pollution by attracting the upper middle class to switch from private vehicles to public transport. The routes for these buses will be based on demand, and the fares will be dynamic.
