The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) airport in Ahmedabad will have a direct flight to Malaysia starting from December 1. The winter schedule, effective from October 28, will add 40 new outbound flights from the airport, including both domestic and international departures. This will increase the weekly departures to 910 compared to 870 in the previous year. The addition of direct flights to Kuala Lumpur will enhance connectivity to Malaysia and benefit business and leisure travelers, as well as delegates attending the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.
