'Petrol bomb' fuels governor-government hostility in Tamil Nadu

IndiaTimes Thursday, 26 October 2023
A dispute between the government and the governor's office in Chennai escalated after two crude bombs were thrown at the Raj Bhavan gates. The governor's office accused the police of not registering their complaint, while the police claimed that the attacker was apprehended immediately. The state law minister accused the governor of spreading hatred towards the government and rejected the BJP's allegation that the attack was orchestrated by the DMK and its allies. The minister suggested that the incident could be a conspiracy by someone else.
