Hyderabad man pleads guilty to attempting to murder Kerala student in London biryani restaurant

A 24-year-old Indian man from Hyderabad has pleaded guilty to attempting to murder a student from Kerala working at a restaurant in East London. The man choked and almost collapsed in court while entering his plea. He also pleaded guilty to having a knife without lawful reason. The sentencing will take place on January 26, 2024. The victim, an Indian national, had arrived in Britain a month before the attack. The man stabbed her multiple times before being stopped by restaurant staff.
