India on Friday abstained in the UNGA on a Jordanian-drafted resolution titled ‘Protection of civilians and upholding legal and humanitarian obligations' that called for an immediate humanitarian truce in the Israel-Hamas conflict and unhindered humanitarian access in the Gaza strip.
