EAM Jaishankar, Italian counterpart Tajani sign 2 agreements to boost youth mobility
India and Italy have signed two agreements to enhance the safe and legal mobility of youth and skilled workers. The agreements on Migration and Mobility Partnership, and Cultural Cooperation will promote people-to-people ties, trade, and tourism. During External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's visit to Italy, he met with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and held talks with his Italian counterpart Antonio Tajani. They discussed various areas of bilateral cooperation and expressed interest in deepening collaboration in renewable energy, IT, startups, and other sectors. The visit aimed to strengthen the historical ties between the two countries.
