Vishvaraj Singh Mewar, a member of the erstwhile Mewar royal family, is confident of winning the Nathdwara seat in the upcoming Rajasthan polls. He is contesting against Congress leader CP Joshi, who has represented the constituency five times. Singh is banking on the BJP's popularity and his family's connection with the people over centuries to secure victory. The BJP hopes to win the seat by showcasing the works of its government at the Centre and highlighting Singh's lineage as a descendant of Maharana Pratap.
