Second varsity in North East to grant menstrual leave

Amid the global push for giving menstrual leaves, Assam has taken a leap forward with National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA) becoming the second educational institution in the northeast after Tezpur University (TU) to grant menstrual leave to its female students, reports Kangkan Kalita. While there is no law for such leaves in the country, it's the call of educational institutions to make the provision for the female students.
