Rajasthan polls: Gehlot loyalist among 21 in Congress's final list

Congress unveiled its seventh and final list of 21 candidates on Sunday night for the November 25 Rajasthan assembly elections, with the latest line-up reflecting the influence of chief minister Ashok Gehlot in the selection process as controversial minister Shanti Dhariwal was nominated for the Kota North constituency. Like in 2018, Congress has fielded candidates in 199 of the state's 200 constituencies, leaving Bharatpur to its ally Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD).
