Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel dismisses link to Mahadev book betting app as 'planted'
Tuesday, 7 November 2023 Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has dismissed claims linking him to the Mahadev Book betting app as "planted" and a desperate move by the BJP. Baghel questioned the sudden emergence of the app's owner and called for an investigation into the source of the seized money. He also mocked the BJP's practice of accepting leaders with legal issues and referred to it as "Modi washing powder." Baghel responded to Shiv Sena chief Udhav Thackeray's statement, saying it was sarcastic and highlighting how leaders' names were cleared after joining the BJP.
