Development of border villages a priority: Amit Shah
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced that the Indian government is prioritizing the development of border villages to ensure their sustainability and growth. The concept of vibrant villages has been introduced to provide better facilities and increase the population in these areas. A budget of Rs 4,800 crore has been allocated for infrastructure, health, and education in 662 border villages. Shah also praised the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) for their dedication and assured them that the government would take care of their families.
