Sunday, 12 November 2023 Eatala Rajender, a former minister sacked by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, is seeking re-election from Huzurabad constituency in Karimnagar district. He is also challenging KCR in Gajwel constituency. Rajender, who joined the BJP after being dropped from the Cabinet, won the bypoll in Huzurabad with a huge margin. His victory in the TRS stronghold has boosted the BJP's claim as an alternative to the ruling party.
