MP Congress worker's death: Digvijaya Singh ends protest, BJP accuses cops of bias

IndiaTimes Sunday, 19 November 2023 ()
Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh ended his sit-in protest outside a police station in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, against the death of a party worker during the Assembly polls. Singh accused the police of bias and alleged that the worker was killed by a BJP candidate to influence the election. The BJP, in turn, accused the police of acting with bias against their candidate. Singh said that if no action is taken, the agitation will spread to other parts of the state. The police assured proper action in the case.
