Parliament not amenable to any intervention from executive, judiciary: VP Dhankhar
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar emphasized the centrality and inviolability of Parliament in a democracy, stating that its supremacy should not be influenced by the executive or judiciary. He highlighted that any encroachment on Parliament's exclusive domain would be a constitutional aberration. Dhankhar called for collaborative discourse among the executive, judiciary, and legislature for the country's continuous growth. He referred to the Emergency in 1975 as the "darkest period" in independent India's history.
