Ration stocked up, oxygen pipe extended for trapped workers

With workers trapped inside the Silkyara tunnel for 15 days and recent setbacks during the ongoing mission, rescuers have started becoming anxious over the “uncertainty” and possible long haul. Rations are being stockpiled and the oxygen pipe extended for the 41 stranded workers, a senior official in the rescue mission said on Sunday. An official, requesting anonymity, told TOI: “The mountain is fragile and it is understandable the evacuation would be slow.
