Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Gabbar Singh Negi, a tunnel foreman, and Saba Ahmed for their leadership and resilience during the 17-day crisis in the Silkyara tunnel, where 41 workers were trapped. Modi commended their unity and praised the workers' families for their cooperation during the rescue process. Negi expressed faith in the country's leadership, and Ahmed highlighted the workers' camaraderie. The PM also acknowledged the efforts of Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Union Minister V K Singh, and rescue teams. The workers thanked everyone involved in the rescue operation.
