Revanth Reddy: From ABVP to top contender of CM's post in Telangana
Sunday, 3 December 2023 Congress president Anumula Revanth Reddy emerges as a top contender for Telangana chief minister's post as the party secures a majority in Telangana Assembly polls, set to dethrone the BRS government. Reddy, a former ABVP member and Osmania University graduate, started his political career as an independent MLC, later joining the Telugu Desam Party before joining Congress in 2017. He won the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections from Kodangal seat in 2014 and 2019 general elections from Malkajgiri seat.
