Will oppose Mahua Moitra's expulsion tooth and nail: Congress MP K Suresh
Friday, 8 December 2023 Congress MP K Suresh announced that his party will oppose the expulsion of TMC MP Mahua Moitra from Lok Sabha if the report of the Ethics Committee, which will be tabled today, recommends it. The Ethics Committee has recently recommended Moitra's expulsion from the Lower House due to allegations of 'cash-for-query'. As the Parliament convenes, the report on Moitra's case will be tabled. The TMC has demanded that Moitra be given a chance to defend herself.
