Wednesday, 13 December 2023 Mohan Yadav took oath as the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh in Bhopal at the Lal Parade Ground. The event was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union home Minister Amit Shah, BJP chief JP Nadda, and the chief ministers of BJP-ruled states. Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Devda, the two deputy chief ministers, also took oath. Prior to the ceremony, Yadav visited a temple in Bhopal and paid respects to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and Syama Prasad Mookerjee at the state BJP office. Yadav's priorities include progress in education, health, employment, and development under Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
