24 sexual harassment plaints by Haryana sportswomen in 5 years

Haryana has seen 24 sexual harassment complaints by female sportspersons in the past five years, including one against Haryana minister Sandeep Singh. The cases involve coaches, sportsmen, and officials, with six cases being cancelled or withdrawn. Four accused were acquitted and 14 cases are under trial. The complaints include incidents involving a Taekwondo player, a woman wrestler, a woman hockey player, a woman wrestler's coach, a coach of a woman boxer, and a DPE. The accused in these cases are currently facing trial.
