8 years after gangster's encounter in Mumbai hotel, 'girlfriend' shot in Gurgaon hotel

Divya Pahuja, an aspiring model, was killed in a Gurgaon hotel allegedly by the hotel owner, in what police describe as the outcome of a blackmail plot. Divya was shot in room 111 after she had checked into the hotel with the owner at 4.15am. The murder came to light when Divya's sister found CCTV footage showing two men dragging the body wrapped in a bedsheet to a waiting BMW car. Divya had been named as a police mole in the charge sheet filed in Mumbai into the killing of Sandeep Gadoli, a notorious gangster, by the Gurgaon police.
