Setback for BJP in Kalyan Loksabha as two BJP's netas left the party within one week

IndiaTimes Thursday, 18 January 2024
Two senior former BJP corporators, Rajesh Wankhede and Vikas Mahatre, have left the party in Kalyan Lok Sabha. Questions are now raised on the leadership of PWD minister Ravindra Chavan, who controls BJP's activities in the region. Wankhede joined Uddhav Thackeray's party, while Mahatre and his wife resigned due to lack of funds and support from the party.
