Punjab and Haryana HC issues notice to Associated Journal Limited, Hooda over ED plea in plot allotment case

Punjab and Haryana HC served a notice to Associated Journal Limited (AJL) and various individuals, including former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, in response to a petition filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The petition concerns the suspension of the framing of charges in relation to the AJL plot allotment case. The ED has contested the decision of the special judge at the Panchkula PMLA court on August 30, 2023, which dismissed its application seeking the removal of the stay.
