‘10,000-yr-old’ rock art carvings found in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri villages

Eight geoglyphs, potentially 10,000 years old, discovered in Ratnagiri district. Seven found in Umbarle village, Dapoli taluka. One found in Borkhat village, Mandangad taluka. Geoglyphs are prehistoric rock art carvings found along the Konkan coast in Maharashtra and Goa. These sites are on Unesco's tentative world heritage list.
